Ethernet Wireless Router?

recently started first year @ university. provide ok internet service in our rooms have supply computer (obviously) , standard ethernet cable connect network. annoying when have laptop , want use in bed.

there way can create wireless network having ethernet lead running creates wifi network (that isn't laptop internet sharing) ? router wouldn't work since doesn't use ethernet lead plug network.

ideas appreciated :)

create need....sorry it's uk site, find them on usa site too. i'd ask college sysop settings before buy though.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
