Will App Data be saved?

so, having not been able transfer settings/itunes across laptop before left university, ignored syncing ipod laptop.

downloaded update yesterday, (foolishly?) discover need backup ipod laptop - , refused let me due not being pc sync data with.

i've 'transferred' purchases on laptop, i'm cautious app data or not saved.

i'm not bothered loss of notes/music/videos, can sort them out, data have on apps being there/backed key me.

question this; able regain app data, , should update, or should leave till home update , transfer settings over?

in advance guys :)
 

what happens when right click on ipod in sidebar of itunes? backup available?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
