Lion - issue with access to windows/apps

hi. can't open applications in lion. example, when open trash doesn't come up. instead can see when use hot corners, when click on trash after sweeping hot corner, windows disappear again. means have several windows open (which see in hot corners) can't of them. can help?:mad:
 

have tried restarting computer? that's basic first step in troubleshooting surprising number forget try.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
