WD Velociraptor in a Mac Mini?

so western digital velociraptor 2.5 inch drive in 3.5 inch cooling chassis. , decently reliable drive long warranty , speed - , great deal more capacity ssd.

it's little big fit in laptop, , imagine noise staggering. non-server mini has headroom 2 drives, conceivably fit velociraptor sans chassis (which wd sell) in mac mini.

has tried that?
 

you need set fans high via istat menus 3.

drive smoking hot. have played out of heat sink needs fan speed cooling. maybe 3000 low , 4000 high . , max if hand brake.

Permissions Problem?

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
