why kerne_task taking more memory safari? 320mb
when computer doing nothing activity monitor using 50% of memory.. wish apple allow 8gb d:

using 11inch ultimate mba 4gb memory.:confused:

when uninformed (sorry - that's how people) computer user looks @ technical numbers of things going on in computer, won't understand lot of it; if think do. when comes ram, i'd users choose opt 8gb of ram opposed 4gb of ram mistaken: don't need more 4gb, , won't use more 4gb given computer. note word most , not (i find when use word "most" on forums, quoted anecdotal evidence if made sweeping "all" statement).

alright, ram showing having of being used: know means? when @ free ram , used ram, thinking used ram taken up, , unused ram have free. isn't case. system reserve ram (so show not being free) tasks. may have computer showing using x amount of ram, in actuality have lot more leeway you'd think because of things going on os , software.

anyways, don't sweat it. don't @ how ram you're using , worry unless if hitting roof (0 ram used) , need more. 1 know when need more ram.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
