Is there a solution for iCloud and playcounts/ratings?

after searching around, i'm getting impression icloud doesn't keep track of playcounts/ratings/date-last-played information. i've accumulated 3 years of data in library, , it's useful playlists , such, i'm kinda let down. love use itunes match , icloud music, won't if i'm going lose data. have couple questions have used beta or might otherwise know.

1. if use itunes match replace music, tags reset, including ratings , playcounts?
2. syncing iphone still update activity xml file on pc, if downloaded songs icloud rather syncing them onto phone?

other insight appreciated.
 

tags , play counts preserved. replace lower bit rate tracks, have delete them itunes. tracks instantly shown cloud icon , clicking icon downloads higher bit rate track. current play counts , tags shown upgraded tracks.

done on iphone updated in itunes on computer, play counts , last played , all.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
