iMessages occasionally sent as SMS?

sometimes message people imessage , it's flawless, other times default sms. know why happens?

also, when start typing people's names in recipients field, there blue bubbles beside people have imessage. bubble gone , when click on person, send button green (meaning sent sms) few seconds before turns in blue imessage button. :confused:
 

while haven't worked out ins & outs of imessage yet, either, believe takes second or 2 verify availability of internet access of recipient's iphone - starts off sms , switches imessage if can.

there may situations recipient doesn't have internet access (i.e., roaming on cell network) voice & sms come through data may not. no point in sending imessage on internet if recipient can't it. in situations, sms preferred, imessage app checks first.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
