How will a 2010 MB Air compare to my 4yr old MBP (2.16gHz)

hi all

4 year old mbp ready replacement , rather buy new mbp have decided 11" air may better option, reasons are:

have 2010 imac use host itunes
have ipad use occasional videos , browsing have become annoyerd restrictions of ipad (no expandable storage, no silverlight & flash support)

used mbp when travel away watching movies in larger format ipad, web browsing in hotel , importantly using sky go application (for non uk peeps allows me watch tv online satellite provider requires silverlight use)

don't want end machine slower mbp 1.4 or 1.6 ghz air slower basic tasks such ones above old mbp?

don't see need 1 of latest air's there huge price benefit buying 2010 refurb unless 2010 air considerably slower have.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
