HD replacement?

my 2 year old mbp gave me universal not enter sign @ startup. booted disk, couldn't repair hd via disk utility. guessing i'll replacing hd. suggestions on how go doing this? not of hw replacing kind of guy, guessing i'll take apple store , see can do. ideas on cost? use local mac store, more convenient. else gone down road.
 

you can removing bottom plate , swapping old hard drive new one. it'll way cheaper apple (unless have applecare).

drive on page should work - decent reviews , enough space needs. reference, 250gb hdd $35.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
