Airport Express

good evening everyone,
purchased , airports express today (the little white box plugs directly wall) plan on useing "boost" wi-fi signal various ios devices. put install disk on win 7 pc , have airport utility thingy. pc not able find it. light on express flashing orange. 3 bars of wireless in room. why cant pc find it? there somewort of blocker/firewall setting? computer on same network.

setting use booster?
 

first of all, have airport extreme base station or time capsule? airport express can extend wireless network of apple wireless device. in cases can't mix brands when extending networks.

let's have aebs. should see both aebs , ae in airport utility. there no need run wire ae. tell extend wireless network created aebs or tc , set.

have aebs in our basement , ae in upstairs hallway between kids' rooms. exact opposite corner of house. gets wireless strength in every room setup.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
