Verizon iPhone4 not playing in docks/showing music controls after update

i have iphone 4 through verizon, plugged in sync on imac, said there verizon update (??) today , there 2 things not working.

1. double hitting home button when phone locked give me music controls [rewind/play&pause/fast forward]. not anymore (nothing happens when home button double pressed when in lock mode, shows time , nothing else).

2. when docked in either of speakers (docked through bottom usb connection), isn't playing music through speakers. plays, through own speakers.

know how can fixed?
super frusterated! help!!!

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
