okay...
on past year, mbp has been plagued popping hinge. in particular, right hinge. bad feel "pop" resonant through top case , felt abnormal...
after failed attempt @ resolution @ aasp, got fed , took liberty fix damn thing myself...
sorry, eager machine put forgot take pictures :/
use pictures ifixit explain...
1) remove bottom case using appropriate #00 philips driver
2) locate offending hinge:

3) remove necessary hardware remove particular piece:

4) take small, thin piece of electrical tape (i had black vinyl electrical tape lying around) , wrap 2 layers around "nose" of piece. wrap tape around "green box" making sure cover tip edge of piece.
5) reinstall everything...
here happens...
on time, mesh covers airport/bluetooth/facetime cables begins wear down due constant abrasion against sharp edge of piece indicated above... mesh begins tear , begins snag, causes loud "pop". barely moving, pressing on top case, etc. can cause bunch of wires violently snap place. i.e. causing audible snap sound...
have been running "mod" on 5 hours , no more popping!
=)
wow, never knew of tip. popping mean popping out or make sound when open , close mbp?
