Time Machine Unable to Write to the last block of the device

hi all,

hope well.

able me problem below.

have external hard drive used under snow leopard keep time machine back-ups on. have tried back-up on lion , received error:-

there error preparing time machine backup disk “new volume”.
unable write last block of device.

if put external hd pc sees it, needs configuring new device. no longer appears on mac @ all!!

have tried disk utility cannot format/erase due being unable write last block of device.

can drive working in mac again please?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
