it's been publicized microsoft makes more money android windows phone 7. has google made more money ios android date? i'm considering whole ecosystem. costs , revenues. standard web advertising, in app advertising, , app sales. if using mobile safari , use google search, revenue search goes in ios column. acquisition of android until today. not annual income.

think it's pretty considering amount of money have had spend on patent acquisitions alone defend android.

if agree, how long until google has made more money android have made ios?

$880 million year (and rising) - google's ad , license fee revenue android.

$100 million year - revenue sharing google pays apple ios searches. 1 question is, revenue sharing percentage? if it's under ~11%, google makes more ios on searches alone. e.g. if it's 10%, google making $1 billion year ios. if 5%, google making $2 billion year ios.

either way, google making money both android , ios. nice position in.

------ unknown income:

don't know how (if anything) google gets apple in exchange included apps such google maps. apple might paying google youtube video conversions.

------ patents:

not sure patents should figure this, have multiple uses , google got far more patents, got entire company:

motorola mobility expected go black (they still have on $3 billion in cash reserves well), might pay own purchase, , some.

the revenue android predicted $1.5 billion next year, ios devices selling hotcakes too. i'd google continue make equal amounts both couple of years, android income might pull ahead.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
