Going to back SL from Lion - can I restore from a Lion TM backup?

as title says, lion's given me no joy whatsoever i've reinstalled snow leopard on partition. plan move files across way delete lion, lot easier if keep settings making time machine backup of lion , restore in snow leopard.

give problems? assume run issues when attempting restore lion applications such new mail/photobooth etc.

had through first few pages didn't see asking question. dug bit deeper after posting , found few posts talking about, saying tm backup won't work.

question is, possible migrate on settings? tried migration assistant, , said drive trying copy had newer os, wouldn't work.
 

don't - did , nothing problems. restore recent snow leopard backup if can.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
