Firefox not remembering logins in Lion

new mac user here. firefox 6.0 (and previous version) won't remember website logins , it's driving me crazy! , yes, checking box says "remember me" when logging in. once close out firefox , open , go same site have login again.

have assume compatibility thing firefox , lion (this doesn't happen on hackintosh running 10.6.6 , firefox 6.0). maybe should post on mozilla forums wondering if here has solution? thanks!
 

if started using firefox, try deleting history , cache firefox , try again. i've run before.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
