Can someone please help me move the location of my iTunes library?

i hear how simple do, , can never life of me figure out. set itunes folder location in itunes preferences new location, i've put music, , doesn't read it, doesn't pick up.

can of course manually re-drop itunes library, letting copy new folder location, don't playlists, , things aren't quite way were.

have in home/music/itunes number of folders , files, such "album artwork" "itunes library extras.itdb" "itunes music library.xml" "mobile applications" "itunes library.itl" , of course "itunes music."

want "itunes" folder contains these files moved new hard drive, , in itunes remain same.

how do this?

nevermind, think got it. guess other files have stay on startup disk, , library folder moves.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
