2010 or 2011 macbook pro?

i'm upgrading late '08 unibody 15" macbook pro. it's got 2.8ghz processor.

i'm considering these two, close same price:

april 2010: core i7, 2.66ghz, applecare 2 more years

feb 2011: 2ghz, core i7, no applecare, same hard drive , ram 2010 model.

use mac surfing web, photoshop , recording via garageband or logic.

not sure 1 better go with. please me decide!
 

obviously, 2011 models quad core versus dual core 2010 models. if you're going use photoshop , garageband, i'd go quad-core if isn't huge price difference.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
