Parrallels on my Mac - Worth it or not?

i have newest 27" sandybridge processor imac, , im interested in parrallels , have windows on mac. im curious know benefits of having windows , true take 2 of 4 quad core processors , if thats true make mac slower , worth doing that?
 

the question parallels worth answered trying it.

in general, consensus seems unless have specific app windows only, it's not necessary.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
