cannot reinstall win xp on iMac

i have been running win xp on imac, , wanted increase size of bootcamp partition , reformat macintosh hd. first erased bootcamp partition, erased , reinstalled snow leopard, went bootcamp assistant , re-partitioned hard drive. went fine, when try re-install windows, insert windows installation disc, click "install", mac logs off, reboots, , white screen. i've tried several time. ideas?
 

you don't need use bootcamp.app in mac os install windows os. use disk utility create partition windows os ms-dos(fat) formatted.
after that, insert windows cd , restart computer. @ start screen, hold down "c" key. imac boot windows cd , can install windows os. during installation, there're restarting phases. it'll not boot installation automatically when bootcamp.app.so you'll have hold down alt/option key after restarting , choose windows os (not cd) continue installation.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
