No window frame aroud xterm and applications using X11

hi everyone,

when using x11 applications , have no more window frame. means can't drag, resize or close window gui.

tried remove , reinstall x11 dvd provided apple, still doesn't work.

i'm not sure it's linked, have installed wine on mac macport.
, noticed problem after that.

problem don't know for, i've been searching around on web without find solution. think windows manager independent x11, , can switched.

new these notions , forum, sorry if post not @ right place.

help.

ps : mac os 10.6.8
 

yes, right. x11 on mac os x uses quartz-wm window manager. however, in case it's gotten detached somehow. should fixable if can find configuration file needs editing. alas, not know 1 edit, since have never seen problem before on mac os x.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
