Got a new MBP, how do i get my iTunes library back?

hi,

sent old 2009 unibody mbp repair because of faulty graphic card, , decided cost repair gave me brand new sandy bridge quad mbp :d. anyways had (have) itunes library on external firewire disk, how can retrieve it?

tried holding option key while starting itunes , selecting folder itunes library says "couldn't find itunes file" or that.

appreciated. thanks.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
