Finding the Next Batch of HP Touchpads

so seems hp can't cancel touchpad right away without pissing off manufacturers have stockpiled , unused parts. there going 100,000 touchpads. presumably these sell $100 again , sell out immediately. have ipad 1, interested pick touchpad $100. use ipad time , having tablet lying around house seems worth $100.

advance thoughts how 1 of these bargain tablets?

also, think hp kind of stupid selling out tablet @ $100? considering how fast sold, surely have sold out quick enough @ $200 , hp have made @ least additional money.

do want $100 doorstop?

or money spent better elsewhere? new hard drive? or put *toward* bigger, more meaningful purchase?

granted, reasons wanting dead-end device (sentimentality? experimentation? antique value years now) own business, it's bit befuddling people buying platform dead, @ prices aren't sustainable in long run (meaning fire-sale prices - don't last) , collecting dust in due course when *real* device in segment.
