probaby sounds stupid but... changing date format in terminal?

i'm messing around geektool , trying display date on desktop, , it's coming out this

"sun aug 28 18:20:48 edt 2011"

how change format to

"sunday, august 28 18:20:48 edt 2011"

or similar (i want day of week , month in full, not shorthand)

on menu bar well... know it's in system preferences i've tried messing around international settings no avail.

have snow leopard, way.

in advance!

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
