Is Lion really this much of a RAM hog?

hello everyone,

i'm sure i'm not first this, lion such ram hog think is? i've upgraded mbp 4 8gb, now, having been rebooted 5 days ago @ most, , running safari, mail, activity monitor , itunes, have 2.5 gb free. 800mb 'inactive', , whilst safari, safari web content , flash plugin using 560, 780 , 540mb respectively, still doesn't account why using much, more ram once thought i'd ever have in machine. there this? apart saving imac 16gb is...

in nutshell, mac os unix operating system, , unix, basic tenet, tends regard ram isn't being used ram that's being wasted. no need worry, in likelihood!

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
