Iphone- Photos taking up space after deleting all

iphone 3gs- deleted photos our phone (both camera roll , photos synced windows folders) unchecked folder in itunes not re-sync. when hooking phone computer , opening itunes, shows 0.23 gb of photos (79 photos) in space bar @ bottom.

there absolutely no photos on phone- how free space?? i've rebooted everything, synced several times- no luck- still showing 0.23 gb under photos.

ideas??

 

apparently ios keeps deleted photos on ios device 30 days before removing them good. can find them on idevice photo app under deleted photos. if want them gone, have select each , every photo (yes yet again) delete them (yet again!!!) space freed up.

perhaps setting date on device ahead temporarily might work, might mess else up, didn't try it.

1 more note: if have photostream enabled, device automatically download cloud device after have deleted them. pain, huh?!!

iPhone won't sync with iTunes

Fashion Place Mall Murray, UT
