Contacts have all but disappeared on iPhone and MobileMe

this 1 has gotten me stumped. (i'm using iphone 4 on 4.3)

last night typing text message , noticed recipient's name wasn't listed... hang on... none listed! except girlfriend's name under 'favourites'. (her name disappeared 5 minutes later).

there 4 contacts left, 2 of had added within couple of weeks ago. new contact there, myself complete profile picture girlfriend's macbook pro, , apple inc saw had popped contacts well.

let's backtrack... half hour before had logged girlfriend's macbook pro under profile. noticed in mac app store there update crappy game girlfriend had installed, when went update told me couldn't apple id not mine.

sync iphone computer, pc. last backup did 8/20/11, while ago. don't want restore backup if can helped.

logged web mobileme , found 4 same contacts listed there well. screwed.

went system preferences on macbook , mail, contacts, calendars , me.com account listed there, mentions mail, calendars. used mail, contacts, calendars. went mobileme in system preferences , saw contacts under sync options checked. what's going on there? had @ address book , lists same 4 contacts.

have contacted mobileme support , has been escalated nothing going happen until wednesday australian time.

can download program called iphone backup extractor can retrieve contacts old backup, hoping tap collective knowledge of place see if can suggestions/help.

ideas anyone?
 

hey dude..

happened me 2 think u have restore old backup , theres no escaping it.. wish coud have better news in fact worse:

after restoring told contacts again erased @ ther blink of eye, after few times did not erase themself anymore

might memory leak of sort dont think cause had enough space on phone @ times

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
