Bluetooth won't work

i have bluetooth headset, plantronic explorer 232, has worked ps3.
today, decided try connect windows xp partition on macbook aluminum (the ones don't make anymore, think). went search devices, nothing came up. followed instructions on manual (hold button until red/blue alternating lights flash), computer couldn't find it. told go device manager , go bluetooth radio, not find section.

did looking around , found this.

did that, looked in device manager, still nothing. haven't restarted computer since instructions didn't tell me to, try later. know why happening?

specs: windows xp sp3
intel core 2 duo @ 2.0ghz
2gb ram

mac os x 10.5.8 mac partition.

edit: cannot turn on discovery mode computer. says settings weren't saved when hit apply.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
