Why is there an "AOL" option in iTunes?

when putting in apple id in itunes reason, there's option select aol.

in world there for? how make sense? i'm missing here :p
 

back in old days, ichat aol client (it might still be; don't use it). therefore use aol account, or create apple account , use instead. regard, both account types pretty identical.

itunes works same way; both account types supported.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
