Help! Still having server issues?

it's october 14th, 1:20 pm local, , still cannot update ios 5. have updated itunes latest version, , when connect iphone, see update (ios 5), shows available. click "download , install", , see screen approximately 30 seconds says, "connecting iphone software update server", , shows status bar.

after approx. 30 seconds, see pop-up says, "there problem downloading software iphone "james smith's iphone" network connection not established."

have tried literally dozens of times, have restarted computer multiple times, , no luck. apple still having server issues? ideas? , way, not see numerical error message number displayed.

problem ios 5 update- connection server cannot established

i'm having same problem.
message when trying update iphone:

"there problem downloading software iphone ab. network connection cannot established"

have iphone 3, version 4.3.5, , have tried troubleshooting section on apple's website advised. updated itunes, restarted computer, checked security settings, , verified no other usb devices plugged in.
know there talk servers being busy, october 18th (9:30 pm time), , i'm still having problem. don't have time take at&t or apple store... have (or else out there) found has worked you, or found source of problem?
please let me know, appreciate help!

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
