Best way to do AT&T cross upgrade on Family Plan?

i have iphone 4, not eligible upgrade price, family is, , has dumb-phone. buy iphone 4s using phone number, pick data plan, etc. @ apple store. believe @ point dumb-phone not work sim de-activated. bring iphone 4s home, do?

easy switching sim cards, , calling at&t cancel data plan on phone number? switching sim cards: take iphone 4 micro sim , put in iphone 4s, take iphone 4s micro sim , put in dumb-phone dumb-phone takes takes regular size sim.

also, hook 4s itunes , select restore iphone 4 backup? best way, there such thing "clean install" on iphone?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
