Third Party USB-Dock Cable

my usb dock cable came iphone 3gs got broken. end near usb got frayed. i'm thinking of getting cheap third party cable. safe? have effect on phone (ie. battery life or mess real bad)
 

in likelihood better cheaply-built ones apple uses. @ point in time, apple decided make nib protects cord doing shorte , crappy. there's technical name part i'm referring to, can't recall it. basically, apple usb cables of worst. i've had 3 break on me, ones came devices, i'd never buy apple-branded ones.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
