MacBook Pro (snow leopard) option key / Startup volume problem while booting

fixed took apple service, there odd logic board. new board fine.

i've had problem while (maybe half year or so) 'cos haven't bothered fix it... or didn't find thread/site problem i'm urge fix it.

have macbook pro 15" late 2009 , installed bootcamp windows 7. when start comp , try press option key select partition want boot comp ignores , go straight os x. i've tried select bootcamp primary start disk, no use, still straight os x. there no startup chime after problem came (yeah no muted sounds), used normal, chime played on startup , option key worked fine primary start disk selection had effect boot.

option in windows keep windows 7 installation dvd in superdrive time , pressing c force boot dvd-drive, downside have wait "press key..." after go win7 partition fine.

have reinstalled both osx , win7 couple of times after problem, no use. guess isn't related operating system, happens before comp loads os. , have no clue can be. when called applecare didn't know there anything. there had similar problem , way fix it?

tl ; dr
while pressing option key on start up, partition screen won't show up, go straight osx. selecting start disc osx doesn't have effect, still straight os x. way in win7 force boot superdrive pressing c while installation disc inside. no start chime on startup, sounds not muted. clean install didn't fix problem.

edit:
tried option+cmd+r+p , shift+ctrl+option+power keys, no use

noticed when press option key show me machintosh hd , windows partitions, can switch between arrow keys , mouse when press enter or mouse click select partition nothing happens, wont freeze or can still switch between partitions won't confirm selection. there had similar problem??

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
