Upgrading white unibody Macbook

hi,

new here, apologies if has been asked or info readily available elsewhere. if please point me in right direction.

have white unibody macbook (late 09 model iirc) i've upgraded it's ram 4gb time ago. photographer , use running photos through lightroom.

main problem i'm having when i've been working while photos can take quite while load , lightroom becomes quite slow.

best of (limited) knowledge best solution replace hdd ssd. can't afford anymore 64gb ssd @ present i'd still left of photos on external hdd. 64gb i'd have enough space have photos i'm working on on ssd , move them when i'm done, can see getting frustrating.

yeah, advice or suggestions appreciated.

maybe you're running out of ram. while doing this, take @ memory usage in activity monitor. like?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
