i have snow leopard 10.6.8 , trying bootcamp , install windows xp sp2.
have used site reference: http://forums.macrumors.com/archive/index.php/t-1220307.html
"1. use lion bootcamp partition disk quit
2. insert xp cd , reboot cd pressing c , follow window installation instructions
3. after xp installed, not config - leave is
4. insert os x install disc came mac - should prompt drivers installation.
5. - mine works great!"
i've followed these instructions when try install drivers using snow leopard disc says can't find drivers "audio device on high definition audio bus" , continues installing. after restart there "found new hardware" audio device on high definition audio bus. (i don't understand why gives me problems audio device on high definition audio bus.) however, airport, two-finger right click, volume buttons, , eject button doesn't work.
i've tried repair , use original leopard disc instead... can't drivers install properly.
if can me, i'd greatly appreciate it!
edit:
ok, tried again. redid entire bootcamp , time used grey ("everything else") disc. says need windows 7. installed above, didn't use bootcamp install windows. understanding should override need windows 7 when installing drivers doesn't seem working.
have tips?
