  2. how you rearrange dock/move items desktop?
  3. how right click?
  4. i have microsoft office home & student edition 2011 , taking csis 115 introduction microcomputer applications. transfer windows computer? specific, windows xp , windows vista.

any tips, answers, suggestions, etc appreciate it. in advance.

1. there small white dot in dock @ applications open. in lion beta disabled in case new default highly recommend enabling again. saves energy if there isn't nonsense runnning time.
2. click hold , move items around. move once stay put it. stuff not in dock appended @ right side in order apps started.
works same in windows 7 (default).
though future dock rather useless managment minimize , out of way. use launcher alfred , or set slide in when required. cmd+option+d short cut this. otherwise takes lot of screenspace no real benefit.

windows open? use expose or mission control new stuff called. there keyboard key (f3). , 4 finger touchpad swipe down triggered too.

if click , hold icon in dock trigger (at least in snow leopard) app specific expose. shows open windows of application such mail. set top right corner trigger it. in preferences -> expose/space aka missioncontrol -> can set corners trigger commands. if move mouse corner triggers it, in windows bottom right shows desktop. useful mouse in hand. touchpad gestures faster.

3. use 2 fingers.
app calles bettertouchtool can make 3 finger click middle click. , lot of other stuff.
possible set bottom right corner right click area. don't recommend it. used 2 finger click. more precise less errors or involuntary clicks.

4. there seperate office mac. have buy again though. sucks , doesn't alike. running windows office in virtual machine works best or using other software. assume running virtual machines difficult considering questions. might buy office mac lot of things little different, fact office mac doesn't support of higher end features. , there quite few compatibility issues.

bettertouchtool worth if want make of it.
