iMac base 2011, memory upgrade

i looking upgrading memory 4gb 8gb. brand should buying , max out @ 8gb, work if install 8gb kit along 4gb?
 

brand isn't critical 2 outstanding ones crucial , owc @ www.macsales.com. make sure buy correct specifications. imac can accommodate 16gb. adding 8gb existing 4gb bring 12 gb. if reason want take 16gb replace original 4gb dimms.


when installing make sure seat ram well, take very firm push.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
