Safari extensions and "Reset Safari", adblocking

hello all,

in safari 5.1 in lion, i'm having trouble extensions.

clear web data (cache, cookies, history, local storage …) when i've finished browsing find inefficient , pointless keep such information on drive (i relaunch "clean" apps).
therefore, check options under reset safari , run that. however, erases preferences these extensions i've done locked local storage folder safari can't erase them. means no other local storage can stored there , i'm wondering whether safe thing do? also, stop these extensions being updated … ?

additionally, i'm running adblock , ghostery. necessary run both or 1 of them redundant? ideally, i'd block ads , bug tracking everywhere, allow ads on sites want support. what's best way of doing this?

update: interestingly, seem logged out automatically of macrumors lot more without ability save local storage...

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
