Mission Control stopped working...

mission control has stopped working.

pushing f3 button shows open windows, no spaces/desktops. keyboard shortcuts (set opt+arrows) still work.
4-finger swipe still moves between spaces.

did restart, , didn't fix anything.

when doing 4-finger swipe up, background image doesn't shrink used to show different spaces.

also, when doing swipe up, if click desktop should (mail , ical, run in full-screen mode of time, have own desktops) i'll go there. it's if mission control works, doesn't quite represent graphically.

lion has been working fine, until now.

ideas?

edit - mission control not work when clicking mission control "app". strange.

exact same thing happened me today. except no response when try start it. doesn't exist.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
