Lion issues with automator and others

hey guys, first post.

bought new macbook air. im trying automator launch itunes, select playlist , set on shuffle. easy, , ran within automator.

flow is:
launch application
find itunes playlists
play itunes playlist

saved service can assign shortcut keyboard settings -> keyboard shortcuts.

when saved here, press shortcut , "negative beep" mba.

doing wrong? or can point me in right direction?


furthermore, find old workflows or services have since deleted perhaps saved accident still appear icons below automator when 3 finger swipe down.

, lastly, how view hidden files in finder lion? on sl, not anymore?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
