the brain trust on over xtremesystems.org have been running variety of ssd's through sustained write stress test last few months, , had first casualty...

samsung 470 64gb drive first wear out it's nand rated 3000 p/e cycles largely due it's amazing sequential write speed compared others in test , it's high write amplification (estimated @ 5).

how data drive take before wearing out?

was data still in tact after nand unable write?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
