Is it worth raiding 2x Hitachi 3TB 7200rpm Deskstars?

i have 2 on order. can either slot them mac pro 3,1 , have storage drives photography , video files. or thinking of setting (software) raid.

possible say, partition them each has 3x 1tb partitions. raid 1 of 1tb partitions each drive? scratch disk. better using smaller partitions, 250gb. advice/suggestions?

leaving other 4x 1tb partitions storage.
 

i believe can raid entire drive, i.e. not partition.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
