How to use per user screen sharing?

apologies if has been answered before.

can't figure out how use per user screen sharing in lion. when initiating screen sharing session destination mac air seems connect hardware display logged on user no matter try (creating new accounts, changing settings in screen sharing prefpane, being logged on machine different users, etc..).

ideas? in advance.
 

i have been struggling past hour , half , have made it, though yours rather old thread, decided answer anyway! :)

when connect remote computer, make sure you're in "control mode" (alternate between control , observe using <command> + <option> + <x>).
once you're in control mode, notice under "view" menu, there's "switch virtual display" option. select , enjoy! ;-)

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
