Transferring previous computer's stuff to new MBA?

hey guys,

have new 11 inch mba (i it, still adjusting smaller screen since had 13.3 mb before, might switch 13 inch if don't used smaller screen).

anyways, going transfer photos/music/movies/calendars through iphone.

that, however, not seem working out because itunes appears still one-way syncing?

anyways, googling around answer gives me 2 year old results , suggestions programs. i'd rather safe , check guys see if have suggestions of how can accomplish goal?

 

if have external hd, make time machine backup of old machine , restore new one.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
