Resolved New hard drive advice

so i'm running on stock 7200 rpm 500gb hd apple (hitachi hts725050a9a362) , googled xbench results 1 of target drives in hopes of comparing speed loss. under impression because drive i'm looking @ has 8mb cache , runs @ 5400 rpm, slower current drive. looking @ results showed samsung got better results. missing something? i'm not great computers, , not sure i'm interpreting these results correctly.

edit: looking @ buying scorpio blue 1tb (9.5mm, in case ever want put ssd in , throw in optibay) couldn't find xbench results, , figured samsung give comparable results.
 

also, know kind of battery , noise differences 5400 bring vs current 7200?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
