Of these two, which MBA would you buy?

my dad thinking sipping apple kool-aid , looking @ macbook air since travel bit.

i've got best buy rz points can give him , today @ local bb saw 2010 open-box models well. have 2011 13" mba love, thinking of steering him towards 1 of these 2 since both under $1000.

a.) $974.99: 2010 13" mba 1.86 ghz c2d, 2 gb ram, 128 gb hdd (open box)

b.) $949.99: 2011 11" mba 1.6 ghz i5, 2 gb ram, 64 gb hdd (new)

don't think amount of storage space big deal him (64 gb should plenty). both have same ram, comes down trade-off of model year/screen size/processor power/lit keyboard/battery life.

rather buy there? thanks!
 

i'd plump 11", personally.

faster, smaller, lighter - handy if travel lot. safari zooming on lion means small text less of issue.

unless dad's got epic itunes library.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
