Great experience at the Apple Store tonight

here's little bit of background: bought 24" imac in 2009. in last 2+ years i've owned it, it's been repaired 7 times. of have been major repairs (logic board, screen replacement, etc.). well, today noticed screen suffering burn-in problems once again. fed up, call applecare (thank goodness bought that) , asked them please replace machine. after e-mailing them pictures of problem, agreed replacement in order. arranged have me take local apple store swap.

so... apple store tonight , after getting information straight (apparently person agreed swap gone, had examine case files briefly), agreed swap machine 27" i5 model. asked if possible upgrade i7 model , pay difference. said no problem. genius goes in , returns few minutes later new computer. tells me, "you're in luck, we're going swap machine i7 model @ no cost you." wow. hand them on $500 , didn't have to. :)

anyway, wanted share. new machine awesome far, of course. won't have problems had old one!

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
