switching to a mac

i have decided switch mac. have real concerns on getting money though. id interested in either base 15 or high end 13. can handle normal stuff real question gameplay games starcraft 2, battlefield 3 , diablo 3. i've looked @ samsung series 7, xps 15z , vaio se. i'm leaning towards macbook want make sure can handle light gameplay. friend said had install bootcamp , ran lot smoother. i'm new mac , idea of bootcamp , running windows. guess i'm asking how bootcamp work , have experience running these games on new 15 base or high 13
 

you'd better off getting dedicated gaming rig, battlefield 3. gaming on laptop dumb, doing on mac laptop worse.

not saying can't done, starcraft 2 run fine on 13", diablo 3 might(though pre-release system requirements, won't) , doubt battlefield playable @ minimal details.

if decided on mac , want game it, wouldn't settle less high end 15".

said, high end 13" isn't worth money, unless need lot of portability , more raw processing power. not more suited gaming low end one. you'd able save money going low end 13. graphics card on low end 15's better 3000hd in opinion, quad-core processor(again isn't useful gaming wise).

Clearing iChat cache/temp data - possibly using terminal?

from time time ichat doesn't clear out temp data , encounters errors. here's example (i'm not in chat here) quitting ichat , starting again not resolve issue. need logout of account or restart machine. used know line of unix code clear temp data ichat or something, lost it. know how go this?   clearing ichat's cache can done in finder. ichat quit completely, navigate ~/library/caches (where ~ home folder) , find folder in there called com.apple.ichat. delete it. note lion users: ~/library folder hidden default, it's easy via go folder... command in finder.   Forums Macs Mac Basics and Help iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Computers Apple Mu...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
